What types of volunteer opportunities does MCSO have?
MCSO volunteer placements are wide-ranging. Volunteers are provided opportunities to support work units in the business services, corrections, and law enforcement divisions.

Who can apply?
Anyone who has the desire to contribute to the quality of life in our community. Applicants must successfully complete a screening, criminal history and background check, and fingerprinting prior to placement.

What are the minimum age requirements?
Most placements require applicants to be at least 18 years old; however, some work units may require applicants to be 21 years old.

How do I apply?
The easiest and fastest way to get started is to directly contact the coordinator of the unit in which you are interested. He/she will coordinate the application, interview, and criminal history and background check process.
