Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Property and Evidence


What are your hours?
Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. (Closed on holidays).

Do I need to schedule an appointment or can I just come in and pick up my stuff?
You need to call 503-251-2486 and make an appointment.

What information do I need to bring with me?
Bring your property receipt. If you don't have a property receipt you need to give us a case number.

Can I pick up someone else's property?
Even though you are a trustworthy friend, spouse or other family member, the property needs to be picked up by the owner.

Inmate Property is picked up upon release from the
Justice Center (1120 SW 3rd).
Occasionally an inmate is told a large property item is being held at the Hansen Building located at 12240 NE Glisan.
Evidence can be picked up at the Hansen Building upon case closure.
