Jail Chaplains are divinely called to minister to individuals within the correctional setting. Jail Chaplains provide spiritual and growth enhancement opportunities to inmates of all persuasions. We act as a resource between inmates and the community, family, religious providers, and the professional field. We also desire to provide to any inmate the spiritual and motivational foundation to re-enter the community with changed, positive behavior.

• Religious materials distribution

• Scripture studies
• Ministry of listening

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must consent to a thorough background check including fingerprinting, a review of criminal history, driving records, and personal references. All applicants must complete a personal interview and attend a three three-hour training sessions to familiarize themselves with policies and procedures of the agency. A two-hour per week commitment is required.
