Multnomah County Sheriff's Office Solicits Feedback on New Policy Draft

MULTNOMAH COUNTY, Ore. – The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is soliciting feedback on proposed policy 725.00 , which seeks to clarify MCSO’s emergency response in the event of a critical incident that threatens or incapacitates operations.
The policy outlines MCSO’s responsibility to maintain its Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), ensuring the agency provides all staff with clear directions for execution of mission-essential functions during natural, technological, and human-caused disasters.
During a 30-day period, community members and stakeholders are asked to share feedback about the proposed policy. Comments shared will become part of the public record.
